This Week

It was a good week for us here in Great Bend.

We continued teaching Chad and Cheryl this week. Cheryl really wants to be baptized this Friday so we are working really hard to help make it happen! We need to continue on in faith and fervent prayers as they are facing some difficulties. I know, though, that as we do all we can that what's supposed to happen... Will happen!

The coolest miracle that happened this week was on Sunday. We had the investigators that we were expecting to show up to church, show up. However the Perez family also brought a person that was very interested in the church that we were able to make a new investigator, Jason. He's a friend of their family. He sat on the back row during Sunday school and just got right into it and was very chummy with the members. He even commented during the class. At the end of the class he was talking to a Sister Schmidt and he told her that he was hoping to make coming to church a regular thing. He impressed many of the members with his sincerity so that was a very great miracle for us indeed.

The Lord's hand is in our lives and he pours us out blessings that we have not room enough to receive them all.

Love you all and have a glorious week,

This week, I got back to my kitten-hunting roots. We helped Destynie to catch some kittens that she was trying to give away, that didn't want to be caught at first (something that happens over and over again). After successfully catching two kittens we gave both of them flea baths and dried them off, then held them close so that they could get warm from our body heat. It was fun!
