Yes the subject line is true. One of the days this week, it was well into the 80's... I don't even feel like it's still technically winter. It's supposed to get colder this week, but we'll see. Well it's been one week since this trio has begun. It's been a little crazy. Our zone leaders told us that we have to keep our work separate and account separately so it's just been like Elder Hosenfeld and I are still companions in our area and then we have this other Elder who we take to see his people sometime. He goes out with members a lot though so we've been working pretty effectively that way. Unfortunately with three elders crammed in one apartment, it's been a bit messy this week so would be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to go back to two elders in the apartment with some more order and cleanliness. Oh and yes, transfers happen a week from Wednesday so next Monday we will find out. This one is real toss-up, for multiple reasons, and I don't have any idea what's going to happen. This week was a pretty good week. On Sunday we talked to a less-active youth, Kearra, who told us that she had a friend with whom she wanted us to talk about the gospel. We passed by her house in Larned a couple days later and he happened to be there. His name is Jordan. He's very open to listening about the gospel, and he's never been baptized before. We invited him to prepare to be baptized, he said he would talk to his parents. He came with Kearra the next day to the combined Young Men, Young Women activity. He liked it a lot (they did Cupcake Wars, like the Food Network Show. The themes for their cupcakes were stories from the Book of Mormon). Kearra and her sister Rose brought a lot of non members actually. There were almost more nonmembers than members at the activity. We got to talk to most of them and they were all really nice and super high potential. We saw Nora again this week. She hadn't left to Fort Worth yet. We originally went to her house thinking we would see if her sister was interested, but when we knocked Nora answered the door. It was good to talk to her in person so that we could get a better understanding of the situation. And.... She's moving to Fort Worth for good. Kind of sad that we won't be able to work with her more, but I know that we nourished a good seed and that it will be harvested. This week as well we were able to teach an investigator named Alondra. We met her the first day of the transfer. She wasn't really interested when we talked to her the first time we met her, but we persisted and she said that we could talk more with her. She's opened up more each time we've talked with her. At first she would just sort of stare off into space when we would talk and not really answer the questions we would ask, but yesterday she opened up a lot and answered with more than a yes or no. Well, mis amigos, I think that that's about it for the highlights of this week. Thanks for all you do and all of your prayers. Les quiero mucho! Élder Connor Waldrón
