So the branch had a good week. The Hermanas had a baptism this week. Their investigator Paloma (who's name means Dove) was baptized. It was really good/funny. She was like laughing/crying the whole time and then didn't plug her nose when she went underwater (and she picked totally random hymns out of the hymn book). It was a good baptism. We gave the missionary moment at the baptism aka share the restoration in 10 minutes, it went really well and we learned the lesson that spiritual experiences are so much more powerful with preparation. It reminds of an example from the Old Testament where Elijah (the Tishbite) seals the heavens and a famine comes. He doesn't go to confront the wicked king, Ahab, right after the rain stops but he prepares in the wilderness (where he drinks from the brook Cherith and Ravens bring him food 😄) I met this lady named Sandra this week. Thought she was white, but she's a former investigator, that considers herself Mormon. She has some concerns with the Word of Wisdom that she desperately needs to get over.

Love,

Elder Waldron
