So that happened...

So we had a week extra this transfer so it was a 7 week transfer. Can you believe it was 7 weeks ago I came to Junction City? Anyway so today we found out what is happening and I'm staying in Junction City and Elder Osorio is leaving and my next companion is Elder De Jong. I don't know much about him, I've met him before, he is super nice.

We've had a lot of rain in Junction this past week, like 5 out of 7 days it poured, one of the other days it was cloudy, and the other was sunny. I was sort of like P.L. Travers from Saving Mr. Banks when she was talking about how she didn't like all the sun and that it was silly that the driver would think rainy days were said then said, "The rain brings life." Then the driver says, "The sun brings life too. " P.L. Travers, "Be quiet!" I had that conversation with myself this week when the sunny day came at the end of the week.

Something cool that happened this week is that we found two hispanic less actives in Junction whose names aren't in the records here. One of them is from the Dominican Republic, we were talking with him. He used to be in a Branch Presidency and did missionary work and was really strong in the church. Then I was realizing how cunning Satan is. This brother has become inactive because of his job. He works bad hours 7 days a week and is often very tired Sunday morning. Satan uses material things so much to entice us. It made me think that we don't have much problems with worshipping idols that are literal images cut out of stone or gold or something like that, but there is so much worship of material things.

We had a bonfire the other night because a Sister in the district has finished her mission and is going home! Sometimes it's really sad to see missionaries go home, they are so scared (like they have the right to be). It's just a reminder that time is so short, in missions and in life!

I don't have much to say for this week I can't think of that much that happened. I saw a real life possum walking around our apartment one night when we pulled up. I didn't know what it was at first I thought it was one of those RodentsOfUnusualSize from the princess bride or something like that. Anyway, hope ya'll have a good week. LOVE YOU!

Be Good, Live Well, Love a Lot
