There's a lot more good ones, here's the link if you haven't seen them all yet https://www.lds.org/media-library/images/by-topic/mothers?lang=eng

I know as missionaries we have been telling a lot of women this week that Motherhood is a divine calling, the highest of callings. Many of the members we have told that they were chosen to be mothers to their children before this life. These statements are of such power and truth!

No wonder that motherhood is a divine calling. Can you even begin to imagine a world without mothers? I know it's extremely difficult, but I imagine a place a lot colder and crueler. I even think many of the things we have today we wouldn't have if it hadn't been for mother's support.

Isn't cool to think that an Apostle has told us that few things are more powerful than the righteous prayers of a mother? I think that that is amazing personally! I've heard a lot that 'you need to be the missionary that your mother thinks you are/hopes you are'. But I think that that could/should be changed to a more lasting 'be the kind of PERSON that your mother hopes you will be'.

We had an activity in the Branch this Saturday. We had a Mother's Day dinner and it was really good! In the hispanic culture they honor Mother's day a lot more than most of us do. In most of the Hispanic countries Mother's day is on a set day not just on a certain Sunday of May every year. So most of the time it falls on like a week day and then apparently they totally shut the city down for Mother's Day, like the Sabbath in Utah. Anyway I thought that was cool

I hope everyone had a good mother's day. I'm so grateful for my own mother and other mothers and mother figures I have in my life!

Love you all

Be Good! Live Well! Love a Lot!
